Evelyn (Corrine) Lockard, 95, of Indiana, PA, formerly of Taylorsville, PA died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home.
The daughter of the late Andrew N. and Beatrice L. (Brown) Corrinne, she was born on June 4, 1922 in Rossiter, PA.
Evelyn graduated from Green Twp. High School in 1940.
She married Hallin “Hick”L. Lockard on November 1, 1942 and they shared sixty-eight years of marriage before his death on February 22, 2011.
Evelyn attended the Lovejoy Church of Christ.
She enjoyed reading and being a member of the former Homemaker Group in Taylorsville, Pa.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Shirley Blaine of Warren, OH; and her two sons: Ronald Lockard and wife Sara of Pittsburgh, PA and Dennis Lockard and wife Linda of Penn Run, PA, her four grandchildren: Bryan Blaine and wife Candace; Brandy Blaine; Jennifer Lockard and Jamie Lockard and her two great-grandchildren: Cameron Blaine and Sean Blaine.
She is also survived by her brother, Vincent Corrinne and wife Katie of Clymer, PA.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Hallin “Hick” Lockard; her daughter, Pauline Strong, her two sons-in-law, Philip Strong and James Blaine and three sisters: Leona Corrinne; Emma Sokoly; and Annabelle Aloi and her brother, Anthony Corrinne.
Family and friends will be received from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where a 2:00 p.m. funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Evelyn’s sons Ronald Lockard and Dennis Lockard will be speaking. Interment will follow at the East Mahoning Cemetery in Purchase Line, PA.
