The Blairsville-Saltsburg School Board will hold a special hearing tonight to hear from the community on the possible closure of the Saltsburg Middle/High School.
The meeting will start at 5:30 tonight, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the hearing will be conducted virtually. Those wishing to offer testimony tonight will be included in the Zoom Video Chat, while those wishing to just view the meeting will be able to watch the meeting on the district’s YouTube channel.
Those not wishing to speak during tonight’s hearing also have the opportunity to submit written testimony as well. Written comments can be emailed to 780Hearing@b-ssd.org. Letters can also be sent to the address posted here.

Any written testimony will be submitted to the board and will be made part of the public record.
If necessary, a second hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at the same time. After the hearings, there will be a 90-day cooling off period before the board takes a final vote on whether to close the school or keep it open.
