A man who was wanted by Indiana Borough Police for loitering and prowling early Monday morning is now wanted on an additional charge of theft.
Indiana Borough police say that their original suspect in the prowling incident that reportedly happened between 1:00 and 3:00 Monday morning in the 900 block of Water Street is now wanted for stealing drinks from a refrigerator on a rear, unsecured, enclosed porch in the same area. The suspect was seen on video in front of the home that was burglarized at 3:16 AM.
Police say the suspect is a white male, in his early 20s, and was wearing a flat cap, a light colored sweatshirt, and dark-and-light colored two-tone shoes. Anyone with information on either the prowling or the theft can call police at 724-349-2121.
