Pitt’s game at Georgia Tech tomorrow night is postponed, but the Panthers got some good news yesterday, as coach Jeff Capel said it appears star forward Justin Champagnie may be able to return from his knee injury sooner than expected. Champagnie suffered an injury to the lateral collateral ligament in the knee at practice on December 20th, and was expected to miss six to eight weeks. Capel said he’s not practicing with the team yet, but has begun individual workouts.
Pitt’s next scheduled game is on Saturday at home against Syracuse.
