A man charged with drug and weapon possession is due in district court today for a preliminary hearing.
Court documents show that 23-year-old Ryan Fultz of Indiana will go before District Judge Robert Bell Sr. in Blairsville today for his hearing. He is facing charges of possessing an offensive weapon, possession of a small amount of marijuana and a summary vehicle charge in connection with a traffic stop on March 18th at the intersection of South Liberty Street and West South Alley. Officers pulled over the car for an expired registration sticker, but soon detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search resulted in police seizing marijuana, paraphernalia and a set of metal knuckles.
