Four fire companies were on the scene of a house fire in Ernest Borough Friday night.
Indiana County 911 reported that Indiana Fire Company Two, Creekside and Clymer fire department along with the county RIG team and Citizen’s Ambulance were dispatched by Indiana County 911 at 9:32 PM for the structure fire at 575 Main Street. Marion Center Fire Department would be called in ten minutes later to assist with the fire, and Plumville and Commodore fire departments were called in to standby for Creekside and Marion Center fire departments respectively.

Marion Center fire officials say that when crews arrived on the scene, they found the house was fully involved in the fire. Crews were on the scene for roughly six hours putting the fire out and clearing the scene. No injuries were reported.
