Indiana County Sports Hall of Famer Rod Clawson passed away at age 68 on Friday after a lengthy illness. The former Saltsburg standout was the first Trojans player to ever get a Division One scholarship, playing on the West Virginia University junior varsity football team. He was a legendary slugging baseball star with West Lebanon in the Indiana County League and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Curran Funeral Home in Saltsburg.
