Multiple reports say the Steelers have signed inside linebacker Kwon Alexander, who played last season for the New York Jets.
Alexander played his first four years for Tampa Bay and has had stops in San Francisco and New Orleans in addition to his lone season in New York last year. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2017.
Alexander is the fifth veteran insider the Steelers have added to their linebacker room since the departures of last season’s top three, Robert Spillane, Devin Bush, and Myles Jack. Cole Holcomb, Elandon Roberts, special teamers Tanner Muse and Nick Kwiatkoski are also new to the team, joining returning second-year man Mark Robinson in the inside ‘backer corps.
