Indiana County firefighters have had a busy weekend as several fires have been reported.
Homer City and Brush Valley firefighters were called Saturday to a brush fire along Route 56 in Center Township.
The Plumville, Marion Center, Creekside, and Elderton firefighters were dispatched for a structure fire Saturday afternoon along Bell School Road in Washington Township.
Glen Campbell, Commodore, and Cherry Tree were summoned Saturday evening for a possible structure fire along Route 286 in Montgomery Township. Commodore reports it was en electrical appliance sparking in the basement of a home. It was taken outside and firefighters found no other problems.
Indiana was dispatched early Sunday morning for a possible structure fire along South 5th Street, for which no other details are available.
