State police are looking for a teenage boy who reportedly ran away from his home. Police say that the boy, 14-year-old Shane Patrick McCoy, did not return to his home after school on Friday, but instead, he was dropped off by a school van at his friend’s home in Homer City. Information suggests that McCoy stayed in the Homer City area for a short time, and then started to make his way to Indiana. McCoy is six feet tall, 165 pounds, dark blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white Homer Center Wildcats hoodie, khaki shorts and red and dark blue Reebok sneakers. Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to call police at 724-357-1960.
An Indiana Man was charged with simple assault and drug-related charges for an incident on Friday evening. State Police say that they were called out to a domestic incident in progress around 5:40 pm Friday evening at a home on Milay Circle in White Township. When they got there, they encountered an unidentified woman and Christopher Fetzer of Indiana. Fetzer was arrested on charges of simple assault, harassment, and possession of a small amount of marijuana. Few details are available on the incident itself. He was placed in Indiana County Jail, and the charges were filed with District Judge Jennifer Rega’s office.
State Police have charged a Lewistown man with drug-related crimes for an incident on Thursday. Police say they conducted a traffic stop along South 5th Street in Indiana Borough around 1:38 PM on Thursday, and was found to be in possession of anabolic steroids and a small amount of marijuana. Charges were filed with District Judge Guy Haberl’s office. The man was not identified by name.

State Police in Greensburg are looking for a gun owner as their firearm was found on Friday. Police say that they were called out at 8:05 AM on Friday on Atlantic Road in Derry Township, where a handgun was found and turned over to authorities.
