Pitt center Jimmy Morrissey yesterday was named winner of college football’s Burlsworth Trophy, given to the most outstanding college football player who started his career as a walk-on.
Morrissey is a three-time All-ACC center and a two-year captain at Pitt. He is ranked as the 6th-best center available in the NFL Draft this year by DraftTek.com
