Aside from the duckling rescue, Indiana County’s first responders had a quiet day on Thursday with just a few calls reported.
The first call was at 9:59 for an automatic fire alarm activation on Water Street in Indiana Borough. That brought out Indiana Fire companies 4 and 1. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out to assist EMTs in an incident on Catalpa Street in Burrell Township at 10:14.
Last night, a vehicle accident was reported on Route 22 East in East Wheatfield Township. Indiana County 911 said that Armagh/East Wheatfield fire department, state police and Citizens’ Ambulance were called out at 6:06 PM. Details on the crash have not been released.
