A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for a man charged in connection with a vehicle crash in Blairsville Borough in April.
Blairsville police charged 46-year-old Daniel Lowman with two counts each of felony child endangerment and misdemeanor reckless endangerment along with a single misdemeanor DUI count for the accident on April 9th on Route 22. Police said that Lowman was driving east on Route 22 taking the Route 217 exit to North Walnut Street when he lost control and rolled his vehicle. He was able to drive from the scene but Blairsville Fire and EMS caught up with him on Falling Run Road. The two children in the vehicle were treated on-scene for unknown injuries while Lowman was taken to IRMC, then to the county jail. He has been free on $5,000 bail.
His hearing is scheduled for this afternoon in front of District Judge Guy Haberl.
