State Police were called out to Purchase Line School District this morning for an investigation into a threatening notice.
Superintendent Joseph Bradley said that an anonymous “warning of harm” was posted and state police were called in to investigate. After the police toured both campuses, they announced that there was no suspicious materials found and that the threat was unwarranted. Bradley added that the students in the high school were kept in first period for an extended period of time, with many of them taking their PSSA tests as well.
Police were asked by Bradley to remain at the schools in an overabundance of caution while the school day went on as normal.
