The Marion Center School Board will hold a combined work session and voting meeting tonight, and many of the motions are in preparation for the upcoming school year.
On the proposed agenda for tonight is the approval of the student handbooks, hiring staff and teachers, accepting resignations and the approval of booster organizations. Some of the hirings include the athletic director, assistant athletic director and the Beard Legal Group as the new solicitor for the district. The board will also approve a second reading of changes to the district’s policy concerning bullying and cyberbullying in the district.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 tonight at the Marion Center Café Annex.
