After a week of dealing with brush fires, Indiana County firefighters were busy yesterday with wind-related problems.
Marion Center firefighters yesterday responded to utility lines down along Skyline Drive in Rayne Township; Blacklick was dispatched for utility line sparking along Main Street in Burrell Township; Homer City was summoned for lines down along Route 56 in Center Township; and Rossiter was dispatched early this morning for a tree down across a roadway in Jefferson County.
Firefighters also responded to several small structure fires over the weekend, and several accidents as well.
