Police report the use of a counterfeit bill at a fast food restaurant, and a case of retail theft.
State police are investigating a counterfeit $100 bill that was passed at the Subway store along Route 22 in Burrell Township on April 3rd. The suspect is unknown. The incident happened just before 2 o’clock that afternoon.
Police say 42-year-old Melissa Adams of Marion Center intentionally failed to pay for two items in her shopping cart at the Walmart store along Oakland Avenue on March 28th. Adams is accused of retail theft for not paying for a 60-pack of eggs and a large bag of sugar.
