PennDOT is reminding motorists that take Tanoma Road in Rayne Township that there will be some closures in effect for a bridge project.
The closures affect Tanoma Road from Route 286 to Kirkland Road as crews work on replacing an existing bridge along that stretch of road with a new bridge and a pipe with a box culvert. The $1.5 million project is being done by Francis J. Palo, Inc. and is expected to wrap up in October. Detours have been posted, and the main detour will use Rayne Church Road. Traffic accessing Kirkland Road can use Braughler Road.
