The NHL released the schedules for the 2021 season yesterday, and it features a bunch of two-game series for teams to cut down on travel.
The Penguins will open their season January 13th at Philadelphia and will play the Flyers again two days later. They’ll follow that up at home against the Capitals in a two-game series on January 17th and 19th. The Pens’ regular season concludes May 8th at home against the Sabres. Game times have not been announced yet.
The NHL says that for the most part, teams will not have fans in the stands, at least in the initial part of the season.
