Congratulations to Trevor Todd, who is getting set for his senior season at Indiana High. Todd yesterday won the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association’s 49th C.R. Miller Match Play tournament at the Indiana Country Club, 3-and-2 over Penn Trafford star Nicholas Turowski.
In Monday’s quarterfinal, Todd got by Peters Township’s Griffin Hansberry and he defeated Plum’s Wes Lorish, 3-and-2 in the semis. He was 1-up after the first nine yesterday and went on to extend the lead on the back nine to down Turowski.
Indiana’s Jonathan Previte won the C.R. Miller Match Play in 1994.
