Pitt center Jimmy Morrisey and defensive end Rashad Weaver were named to the All-ACC first team yesterday. Kicker Alex Kessman, defensive end Patrick Jones II, and safety Paris Ford made the second team.
The ACC Offensive Player of the Year is Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Defensive Player of the Year is Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, and the Coach of the Year is Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly.
Pitt’s Rashad Weaver was named first team All-American by Pro Football Focus yesterday, along with Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker. Pitt punter Kirk Christandoulou was named to the second team.
