After a busy Saturday, Indiana County’s first responders had just a few calls on Sunday.
The activity started at 8:22 AM with an automatic fire alarm on North Walnut Street in Blairsville. Both the Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments and Blairsville Police were called out at the time.
A vehicle accident was reported at 11:21 AM on Route 22 East in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh/East Wheatfield Firefighters, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were called out at the time. Details on the accident have not been released by state police.
Two search details were also dispatched yesterday. One at 7:19 PM in Blairsville Borough near Campbell Street. Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were dispatched at the time. Blairsville fire officials said that the call was a false alarm.
The other detail was called out at 9:05 PM for Skyline Drive in Conemaugh Township. Saltsburg fire department was dispatched at the time. Details on that search have not been announced.
