COURTS TO BE BUSY TODAY WITH SEVERAL HEARINGS

The Indiana County and District Courts will be busy today with several hearings.

One of the cases on the Common Pleas Court Schedule is for an inmate in the Indiana County Jail for contraband.  Court documents show that 25-year-old Ryan Patrick Hughes is charged with possession of a controlled substance by an inmate, possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia for an incident in November of 2022.

At the district court level, a preliminary hearing is scheduled today for a Dixonville man charged in connection with an incident on June 26th.  37-year-old Shane T. Turenchalk is charged with simple assault and harassment in connection with the incident.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
