On Wednesday Night, the White Township Supervisors approved the 2021 budget.
The budget went unchanged from the draft budget approved in November, and it contains no property taxes for the township. Expenditures for the township come to $8,781,923, while income is at $8,281,078. The township will use some of its surplus to fill the budget gap.
The supervisors also approved a resolution for the 2020 Priorities Comprehensive Plan update. White Township Assistant Manager Chris Anderson talked about two additions to the plan that were recommended by Friends of White’s Woods.
The supervisors also approved the Indiana Fire Association agreement for next year. There were no changes to the agreement and the township will contribute $207,000 to the fire department.
