Penguins fans got a pre-Christmas gift yesterday as the team showed a video of informal skating sessions, which began yesterday in groups of five players at a time at the team’s facility in Cranberry. Among those on the ice were Jake Guentzel, Brian Dumoulin, Casey DeSmith, Jared McCann, Marcus Petterson, and Zach Trotman.
The NHL has not announced when the season will begin, but some reports say as early as mid-January.
