IUP Volleyball has announced a twelve-member recruiting class for the new season. Six of the incoming players are transfers, and six are freshmen.
The transfers include Kat Warpinski, who played for Division One Atlantic 10 champion Loyola Chicago last season; Nyla Birch (Fairmont State); Karli Edwards (Fairmont State); Brooke Talbot (Thiel); Sara Fandel (Feather River College in California); and Audrey Torres (Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan).
The freshmen are Delaney Concannon from Thomas Jefferson High School; Erin McCourt from Deep Run High School in Virginia; Faith Dunn from Norwin; Mikalah Kim from Central Cambria; Kylee Rubin from Shenango; and Bailey Maxin from Moon Area.
IUP coach Lorelle Hoyer led the Crimson Hawks to a 20-9 record and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament in her first season last year.
