Indiana Borough Police have announced multiple drug possession reports this morning.
The first dates back to Friday evening where reports say officers responded to a fight along the 00-block of South 5th St. around 11:20 p.m., and after a police investigation, 36-year-old Richard Rivera was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Rivera was charged through District Guy Haberl’s office.
Additional reports date back to the middle of November, with the first occurring on the 12th where officers responded to a car accident along the 00-block of South 6th St. in Indiana. Reports say that upon police arrival, an investigation was conducted and they found 20-year-old Sean Sutcavage was under the influence of controlled substances while driving.
Charges were filed via criminal complaint of DUI with possession of a controlled substance.
Police also report that on November 17th, 35-year-old Christopher Torrance of Indiana was charged for multiple crimes after officers responded to an incident along the 00-block of North East Avenue. Police say Torrance was in possession of drug paraphernalia along with possessing a suspended driver’s license. He was charged via criminal complaint with the aforementioned charges.
