PennDOT has announced that a bridge project scheduled to start next Monday in White township has been delayed a week.
The Ramsey Run Bridge Replacement scheduled to start on the 17th will now start the following Monday, July 24th, with the projected end date being August 28th. During that time, East Pike between Ramsey Run Road and Stormer Road will be closed to allow crews to replace the bridge. Access to Ramsey Run Road will be maintained throughout the project.
PennDOT will have a detour posted. Motorists travelling on Ramsey Run Road will turn left onto East Pike Road, turn right onto State Route 286, turn right onto Airport Road, turn right onto Geesey Road and then turn left back onto East Pike Road.
The project costs $791,000. Plum Contracting of Greensburg is completing the project.
