Criminal call hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court, including three for a woman involved in drug-related cases that date back to 2021.
38-year-old Kimberly Ann Caylor of Indiana is due to take part in the meeting today at 8:30 in front of President Judge Thomas Bianco. She, along with James Emerson were found with heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging material and a large amount of drug paraphernalia in a room at the hotel on Wayne Avenue in March of last year. Caylor was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver and single counts of possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communications facility.
She is also charged in connection with a drug investigation in Washington Township in August of 2021, when police had a building under surveillance for suspected drug activity. Caylor drove a black sedan that sped away from the residence. She was picked up in a parking lot. Police found a glass smoking pipe in the car, and Caylor admitted to police that she instructed one of the two passengers in the car with her to throw a black magnetic box out the window. That box had 185 baggies of heroin inside.
In a third case that goes back to November of 2021, she was charged with other drug-possession related crimes.
Criminal Call is designed to update the court and the parties involved on the progress of a case. Proceedings are usually postponed to a later date, but on occasion, guilty pleas have been entered at the Criminal Call phase.
