At Monday night’s meeting. the Center Township Supervisors approved the 2021 budget.
There were no changes to the budget from the one approved for advertisement and display in November. There are no tax increases for township residents, holding steady at 1.3 mils and expenditures topping out around $1.5 million.
The board also approved advertising a new ordinance for Center Township parks. Supervisors chairman David “Butch” Smyers says that the Center Township Parks and Recreation ordinance said that it will deal with some new rules for the parks, and gave some examples of what rules would be added.
The ordinance will be put out for advertisement and will be up for approval in January.
The supervisors also approved the purchase of a Bobcat Mini-Excavator through Costars using money saved for the purchase over the last few years.
