The Indiana Area School District was notified of more covid-19 cases in its schools.
In a letter posted to the district website, Superintendent Mike Vuckovich reported a probable positive case at Horace Mann and at the Senior High, along with three positive cases at the Junior High. Since the cases occurred over the school closure, the district said that no additional staff or students need to be quarantined, and the cases do not count towards the total count in determining whether the school buildings need to close.
The Indiana School District returned to in-person instruction today with students in grades K-5 going back to five days of in-person instruction, sixth grade going to four days of in-person instruction and one day of virtual instruction, and the upper grade levels going to the hybrid schedule.
