Duquesne basketball coach Keith Dambrot announced yesterday that former Pitt guard Ryan Murphy has enrolled at Duquesne and will be eligible to join the Dukes a week from today.
Murphy started 12 games for Pitt last season and led the Panthers in both three-point shooting percentage and total three-pointers. He averaged 7.6 points per game, but he suffered a concussion and lost playing time when he returned.
Murphy left Pitt with intentions to transfer to Tulane, but then decided to try pro ball in Europe before Covid-19 ruined those plans. He’s also played at Charlotte and at New Mexico Junior College.
