There is a lengthy list of cases scheduled for Criminal Call in Indiana County Court today, numbering about 150 cases up for review, but most of them will not actually be called before the bench.
There are two sentencing proceedings scheduled for 25-year-old Ashley Ribet of Blairsville. In a burglary case originating in February of this year, she pleaded guilty to simple assault, escape, and institutional vandalism. A charge of burglary will not be prosecuted, and additional charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats were withdrawn at district court.
In a second case, from October of last year, Ribet pleaded guilty to two counts of theft by unlawful taking.
She is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Michael Clark.
