Playing with 18 players out, the Pitt Panthers beat Virginia Tech, 47-14, yesterday. Quarterback Kenny Pickett was 35-52 passing for 404 yards and two touchdowns, and he ran for a score as well. Kicker Alex Kessman hit four field goals, including two from beyond 50 yards.
Pitt has two games left on its schedule. The Panthers will play at Clemson next Saturday (time to be determined), and at Georgia Tech on November 10 at 7:00 p.m.
