The Pitt Panthers take on the Virginia Tech Hokies tomorrow afternoon at Heinz Field. Both teams are 4-4. It’s the Panthers’ final home game of the season, with kickoff scheduled at 4 o’clock. You’ll hear it on WCCS, FM 101.1 and AM 1160.
It will be Senior Day for Pitt, but only ten of the 21 Panthers’ senior will be honored, because the other eleven are considering returning for another year of eligibility, including Indiana High grad Jake Zilinskas. The former walk-on quarterback is now a scholarship fullback.
After last week’s Georgia Tech game was postponed because of Covid-19 in the Panthers’ program, the ACC has rescheduled it again. The conference yesterday announced that the game has been moved from Saturday, December 12th, to Thursday night, December 10th.
