Daylight lane restrictions are scheduled to begin today as part of the Newport Road Bridge rehabilitation project in Blacklick and Conemaugh townships. Drivers will not the restrictions between Grange Road and Clarksburg Road.
Early next month, a detour will be put in place as workers begin steel repairs and deck replacement on the bridge over Aultmans Run.
The bridge work will include steel repairs and painting, the replacement of the deck, drainage , new guide rails, and other miscellaneous construction The $2.2 million project is scheduled for completion in September.
