An Indiana woman was charged with public drunkenness after an incident early Thursday morning.
Borough police say that they were dispatched at 12:46 AM to the 300 block of South 6th Street for a report of a woman passed out on the sidewalk. When they got there, officers found 23-year-old Demitra Skoofalos in a state of intoxication that she was a danger to herself or others. She was taken to Indiana County Jail to be held on a temporary detainer. A non-traffic citation was filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
