Damage from the storms and high winds in our area yesterday left some residents still without power this morning.
Penelec reports that 45 of its customers are without power this morning. Most of the outages are in the northern and southern areas, while the central section of Indiana County has power as of right now. Green Township has the highest number of outages at this time with 13, with outages also being reported in Armstrong, Banks, Cherryhill and Rayne Townships, along with Blairsville, Cherry Tree and Saltsburg boroughs reporting outages at this time.
REA Energy is reporting 23 outages in Indiana County.
Crews from both companies continue to work to try and restore power as quickly as possible.
