Indiana County’s school districts continue to deal with Covid-19 situations, including the latest positive case, reported Friday by a student who attends Saltsburg High School. That student had not been in the school for the past week. Those who have been in contact with the student were advised that they needed to quarantine for two weeks. The school will remain open under its current operating guidelines.
The shortage of substitute teachers is a continuing problem for the county’s school districts. United has posted a notice seeking teachers, who will be paid a $120 daily rate. Candidates who wish to be considered are urged to call the district at 814-446-5615, extension 3301.
