A Creekside couple will return to district court today for a preliminary hearing on charges related to sexual assault.
Both 40-year-old William Dixon the 2nd and his wife, 35-year-old Shannon Dixon, will have a preliminary hearing today on charges that stem back to January 1st of 2014. Both face two felony counts each of Sexual Assault and Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse.
The two have been in court recently in another case involving children. William pleaded guilty to three counts of endangering the welfare of children while Shannon pleaded guilty to three counts of reckless endangerment. Those charges stemmed back to September of 2016. The couple reportedly locked their children in their rooms at their home with a portable toilet, a few toys and no lights. They told police that they did it to keep the kids from falling down the stairs at night.
William was sentenced to 9 months to two years in jail and three years probation while Shannon was sentenced to two years probation.
