Several people are without power this morning in Indiana County and the surrounding areas.
REA Energy has announced that their members are experiencing scattered outages in the Northwest area of the county. 440 customers are affected by the outage due to downed trees and lines from the high winds, with a majority of the customers in the area of the Clyde substation in West Wheatfield Township.
In addition to that, another 220 customers are without power in the same area. Of that, nearly 140 customers near the Ashville, Cambria County substation are without power, again due to the high winds knocking down trees and power lines.
And in White Township, 1-20 Penelec customers in the Commodore area are without power due to downed lines.
