An Indiana man charged in relation with a drug bust in early 2021 will be in court today to enter his plea in the case.
24-year-old Toby Takach is due before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco today to enter pleas to charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of a weapon in connection with an investigation that started December 29th of 2020.
In a news release from Indiana County DA Robert Manzi, members of the Indiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Takach’s home on January 8th of 2021 in response to a tip received one week before. Several pounds of marijuana and THC wax, along with LSD and psilocybin were found along with five firearms and several items of drug distribution items, a debt book and $26,000 in cash. When interviewed by police, Takach admitted that he sold the narcotics.
He has been free after posting $25,000 bond. The plea court session is scheduled to start at 1:30 this afternoon.
