The Steelers yesterday signed running back Darius Hagans and offensive lineman Jarrid Williams. Needing a roster spot, the team released rookie wide receiver Cody Chrest.
Hagans ran for 1,012 yards last season for Division II Virginia State. He was let go by the Indianapolis Colts last week. Williams was on and off the Philadelphia Eagles roster and practice squad last season before finishing on the practice squad of the Detroit Lions. He was released by the Eagles last month.
