The Purchase Line Red Dragons were blanked by the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders, 35-0, in the District 6 1A semifinals on Saturday night at Altoona’s Mansion Park.

The Bishop Guilfoyle win sets up another championship match up with Homer-Center, which defeated Juniata Valley in the other semifinal on Friday night. Homer-Center and Bishop Guilfoyle met in the championship game three previous times, with Homer-Center winning in 2013 and 2017 and losing in 2016. Bishop Guilfoyle will be making its seventh appearance in the last eight games.
The championship game date is to be announced.
