Two more brush fires were reported yesterday in Indiana County, bringing the total number of brush fires up to sixty three for the year.
One of the brush fires was reported in Rayne Township at 3:04 PM yesterday. Marion Center fire department said the cause of the fire was a tractor in a field catching fire. The fire affected a 150 by 150 foot area.
The other brush fire was attended by multiple fire departments. It was reported by Indiana County 911 at 3:58 PM on Nursery Road near Clarksburg. Saltsburg, Coal Run/McIntyre and Iselin/West Lebanon fire departments were dispatched for the fire. No details are available on the fire.
