The Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin now face some steep fines for not following the NFL’s Covid-19 protocols.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the league announced that they have fined the Steelers $250,000 and Coach Tomlin $100,000 for mask violations during the week eight game against the Baltimore Ravens. Tomlin was spotted on the sidelines not wearing a face mask, and was not wearing one as he walked on the field to attend to Cam Heyward after he suffered an injury late in the game.
The Steelers confirmed the fines, but did not confirm the amounts.
