Another day of work yesterday, session five of Steelers OTAs, with one more to go today and four next week.
Steelers newcomers are settling in, including second round draft choice Joey Porter Jr., who says he has been learning a lot from veterans such as Patrick Peterson.
Porter says he has quickly made the adjustment from college to pro ball.
Another newbie for the Steelers is guard Nate Herbig, who has been enjoying being on the field with his little brother, fourth round draft pick linebacker Nick Herbig. Nate and guard Isaac Seumalo both signed as free agents from the Philadelphia Eagles. He says he loves Pittsburgh.
After tearing his Achilles tendon last week, Steelers reserve defensive end Renell Wren has had surgery and is out for the season.
