All three of the Pennsylvania row office races are still very close as of this morning.
In the State Attorney General’s race, incumbent Democrat Josh Shapiro trails by 411,745 votes across the state as he has 2,227,195 votes compared to Republican challenger Heather Heidelbaugh’s 2,638,940. Libertarian Daniel Wassmer gathered only 92,266 votes, while Richard Weiss of the Green Party received only 48,287.
Another incumbent who is trailing in their re-election bid is Democrat Joseph Tortella in the State Treasurer’s race. He trails Republican Stacy Garrity by 672,074 votes. Garrity has so far 2,738,630 votes, while Tortella has 2,066,556 votes. Libertarian Joseph Soloski earned 114,016 votes, while Timothy Runkle of the Green Party has 55,333.
In the Auditor General’s race, Republican Timothy Defoor leads across Pennsylvania, with 2,771,895 votes. Democrat Nina Ahmad has 1,982,870 votes. Libertarian Jennifer Moore has 159,764 votes and Green Party candidate Olivia Faison has 54,251 votes.
Indiana County is following the statewide trends as Heidelbaugh, Garrity and Defoor lead in the Indiana County votes as of last night. A majority of the mail-in ballots for Indiana County voters have yet to be counted.
