Indiana High will take on Montour today in the WPIAL third-place consolation game, with both teams then moving on to the state 4A tournament. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 this afternoon at Ross Memorial Park at Washington & Jefferson College.
Indiana entered the WPIAL playoffs as the 7th seed and Montour was number one. The Greyhounds lost in the semifinals to Latrobe, while the Indians fell in the semis, 7-5, to Hopewell. Hopewell edged Latrobe, 4-3, yesterday in the championship game.
Should Indiana win today, they will play District 10 champions Erie Cathedral Prep on Monday. If Indiana loses, they will take on District 3 champion East Pennsboro.
