At their meeting last night, the Center Township Supervisors approved putting the 2021 proposed budget up for advertisement and inspection.
The proposed budget will contain no tax increase for next year and the budget is similar to the 2020 budget, according to supervisors chairman Dave Smyers. The budget will be up for final approval at their regular meeting in December.
In other business, township road crews are beginning to shift to more winter road maintenance but Smyers said they still want to do as much road repair work as they can while the weather’s good.
Smyers said that paving on Johnson Road was finished, and they were continuing work on a drainage project in Myrwalt. While that project will not be finished for this year, it will be completed next year.
